The default push type is TCP (for legacy reasons) and will be updated the first time the device connects to push. It hasn't connected yet, so that is why it isn't HTTP yet This is just a symptom of your real problem and not a problem itself.

The device can connect to the server to setup and upload the TPR, so the setup should be correct. We need to look at what the sync is doing itself as the connection should be fine and this is probably something user specific. You need to open a PMR so that the logs (including the TPR that is being uploaded) can be examined.
